DC header problem?
Installing an O2 simulator or O2 Cheater is the only way to get the check engine light to turn off. There is no way to avoid the CEL otherwise.... When you remove a cat that has sensors before and after it, the computer will know something is wrong, and will thow the light. Race header = Check Engine Light...

I'd go and check www.clubsciontc.com
Check this tread out... http://www.clubsciontc.com/modules.p...ewtopic&t=2139
You'll find alot of useful information, if not a temporary solution until theres something to remedy the problem.

i just put my header in today. but i think i here a rattle in mine... i dont know what it is. i think i just have to re tighten everything. anyways my check engine light hasnt come on yet i was wondering why i see that everyone else is gettin the CEL on...
I was looking at the DC Header on mcgeorgeparts.com recently and it said to call for a a price. When I called them they told me that there was a problem with the CEL coming on and that DC was redesigning it to eliminate this problem and releasing the new version soon.
only thing they will probably do is add the cat in there which will raise the price up. unless they put o2 or some other device to eliminate the error.(price stilll goes up)
but i doubt they will redesign the header. it was meant for offroad use only. and the CEL is expected to be there anyway.
and if they did it would probably be a new type of header.
