Default DC sport header VS DME header

Im lookin to get a header either DC Sports or DME...

I heard the DC sport will eventually rust..

but on the other hand the DME i heard as the best power gains im wondering how much more then the dc sport if anyone knows....we all know any header will be better then stock..

trying to find a dyno chart but DME heard has power through out the power band while dc sports gains power above 4k rpm...

whatdo you gies think

Best power gains are from WeaponR/MMW or maybe the Tsudo since it's the same thing - both 4-2-1 design.

Between those two, they're probably about the same since the design is basically the same from what I've seen. Both just plain 4-1.

Not sure where you heard that, but that's definitely not true. The transmission is irrelevant.

My understanding is that 4-2-1 gives a bit more low end power, where the 4-1 might be more of a high end power adder.

its all over the internet when you buy a header they wil say 4-1 is made for the manually cause we shift at a higher rpm rather then and automatic the 4-2-1 is made for them cause it doesnt have to shift higher so its better for lower end do i make sesne something along those line.....

you can use MMR or Tsudo on a stick with same gains as on auto.

but to the original question, both headers in time will rust over if not cleaned yearly, steel wool and polish save every fall.DME sits a littel closer to the block than the DC does,DC and other sit closer tothe radiator, but both are still very close.

I like the DME a lot, almost got it but soem extra money came through and I got MMR.....
