Default DC sport headers installed...but now have check engine light

hey guyz...i recently installed dc sport headers, and a k&n typhoon intake, ever since i got them installed, my check engine light came on...please some1 help me out here with some suggestions...also need to know if the headers n intake or any good...

Go to the tech section and read on ECU reset.

just because you installed a header and intake doesnt always mean its a cat cel, make sure you borrow a OBD2 reader and diagnose the CEL code first.

Resetting the ECU wont help if it is the CAT failure code. You will need to use the antifouler or similar fix for it.

As mentioned, find out what code you have first. If you are modding your car, you should own in the very least a code reader, if not a diagnostic tool. And start learning a little about the various codes and how stuff works together. Best investment you can make.

Other than that , search, this has been covered a few places so there is a ton of info on it.
