i forget - i dont want to give you wrong info. I just know that the draxas is officially bad ___. if you buy it tonight there is no way you wouldnt like it if you want something deep and non-ricy. .... its a fact.

the deepest are the HKS Hi-power and the Magnaflow. The Draxas gets a little tinny at higher RPM's because it is a full exhaust system. Any full exhaust is bound to do that. The axlebacks are usually the deepest but they have no power gains. Listen for yourself at this link

hehe - but thats the thing - why would ya wanna spend money for no power gain? its all about the performance and sound.

the only single reason you would get an axelback would be because you wanted to get a header and custom midpipe w/ 2 - 15inch resonators or at the veryleast 1 - 20inch

Not necessarily. For some its the sound, others, performance, and some prefer both.
For me, i'd rather have the sound because what's the difference between 3whp and 7 or 8whp...not enough to notice

You buy an exhaust for sound. Thinking that it is some magic horsepower freeing device is lunacy, and money better spent on real gains. 3whp is negligible, 7whp isn't much better. The $500 the exhaust cost you could have been put toward something that makes an actual difference in the performance of the car.

Axleback FTW... unless you have a few grand into the motor, and actually need more capacity.

im not understanding where you guys are getting this info from. You need to get the right products and as you get new parts they will work together to give you a hp gain. dont missinform people and tell them the wrong things. If you want to get an axelback do so but then get a custom midpipe from a muffler shop w/ resonator. that way you will have a resonator and be ready for a header. then match that with an intake and you will have an extra 20ish whp in the end.

someone new is going to read this post and do the wrong things if you misinform them.

Show me a timeslip where all of the pretty bolt-ons actually lower an ET or a laptime, and I"ll change my stance. Untill then, it's money spent to make loud noises and fool with the powerband.

Dynos love bolt-ons. Dynos mean nothing in a real-world application.

Wait for the ARK Exhaust system N2 and DT-S system. We're going to dyno system tomorrow. And will post performance results soon. Pictures... you can also check from www.arkspeedracing.com and we have short sound clips available.

see ya ~

Do your exhausts bolt up to the S-pipe, or do they go on after the second cat? The N2 sounds sweet BTW. Did you use the silencer in the sound clips?

No. All Decibel sound test uses without silencer. It is all bolt on system.

Looking forward to seeing some new information from ARK. I would say as of right now the best sounding exhaust I have heard in person has to be the HKS.
