^^ Basically, says he drove into a regular puddle (at 13 mph.. and the dealer magically proved this! ) water made it into the stock airbox (somehow splashing right through the inner fender cover to the air inlet), hydrolocked an is dumping oil as if it has a hole in the block or pan.. coolant in the oil, etc.

Yeah I wasnt trying to be a huge dick, but do you realize how fast 13mph is? I mean I can run that fast.

Your story doesn't make sense, and when someone tells me that they can do 120 pushups with no arms ... I am skeptical.

Actually, dealer can prove how fast you are going at the time of a hydro lock or whatever. Their diagnostic machine tells how fast you were going at the time the engine shut off.

Oh, to shed some more light on that, the dealer directly hooks the ECU of the car in question to their diagnostic machine and it reads what the speed was at the time, RPM, etc. everything that the car was doing at the time, and tells which pistons are misfiring and what not.

Which in no way tells you how fast the car was going when it entered the water Also doesnt tell you how deep the puddle he ran into really was either. Bottom line is that he did not hydroplane if he was only going 13 mph as he states.. and if it is hydrolocked, he drove into DEEP water. So it is not a warranty covered item. If they cover it under warranty, they are basically giving him a BIG christmas present

Right. But I thought they can see these sort of things on the computer when they do the ECU check and see when the car died, and how fast he was going before that, see if there were any speeding and such involved?

Well he said that oil, radiator fluid, and water went into the engine....how does the radiator fluid get in if there wasnt any seals broken or maybe I am not getting something?

Hydrolock possibly warped the head? I don't know.
