to tell you the truth i rather hear a person say, " i used an aftermarket pulley on my car for over 2 years now and my car still runs great!" <-------- what about these people?? i wanna hear from them!---- all ive read is (especially from ZPI) " These pulleys will not break. we would not sell this to you if it did any harm to your engine", than again ive read "ive witness several cars broke down with this pulley"

oh come on... previous car owners, theres gotta be somebody in this forum who actually used an aftermarket pulley for years and say their shiznit still runs great.

all these other complaints and praises are not influencing the majority to whether buy or not buy this pulley...

and i am still confused whether or not i should buy an aftermarket pulley... actually i just wanna know whats the estimate life span for the tC's engine when you add the pulley, i mean i know my DC headers will crack sometime on the long run but its gonna be years till it happens...

You very rarely hear anything but negatives in forums... there are a TON of tuners who run pulleys in there cars and have no problems... they just don't make a post that says, I ran my pulley and had no problems... they only post when something goes wrong....

I'm on the side of the pulleys personally and will go NST very soon.... If my engine blows up... I'll tell you.

If you get the pullies, make sure you yank them off before taking your car into the dealer. Don't give them a reason to nit pick about that stuff.

I myself will not run pullies just because i'm not THAT in need of the extra free'd-up HP. That in mind, I'd be a helluva lot more likely to consider it if the manufacturers would guarentee no long term damage from the products. just my 2 cents.

if'when you get the pullies. dyno the before/after please. I'm STILL dieing to see if they live up to all the hype.

For what its worth, i think part of the debate on tC's and pullies has to do with the fact we have cam chains and not belts. but thats a technical thing I'm nowhere near qualified/experianced to comment on.

Dyno Dyno Dyno, I can't say it enough

I'm not convinced they're going to be HP fiends... but I'm sure they'll present improvement, just on the physics alone... especially in getting moving, and in lower gears.....

There are a couple threads which discuss harmonics and engine damage, so you can search and find them pretty easy... and see that perspective as well...

And yes... if you have engine problems and a dealer sees these, they can nit pick away on warranty work... but, if you pop an intake and header on there as well... they've got plenty of unreasonable ammo on you anyways....

If there is anyone who doesn't have a warranty.... it's me... LoL...

Agency Power pulley is a different pulley. We have our own design.

Agency Power:

ZPI

Our pulley is actually even lighter than the AP pulley.

Welcome to our world.

It's a shame Toyota won't give us a break on the cars, since they know we're not going to be making any warranty claims.. Makes the overall cost of the vehicle cheaper for them.

You are very correct sir! I have counted 75,000+ miles with NST pulleys in the past several years without any engine failure

I have a pully on my ZX2. Then again my ZX2 is far from stock. Everything except for the block itself(engine wise) has been strengthened. On my TC I'm going to stay away from the pullies. I've seen what one can do to a Supra engine. Granted for the ammount of power that TC's make vs a Supra is great, I dont want to risk it(not yet anyways lol)

my warranty went out the window with my whole saga. Hopefully if I goto court with Scion/Toyota I may regain my warranty again.. since they are f**ked up in the head.
