DIY Install for HKS Exhaust
#6
I recieved a couple of PM's about it. This is how I responded:
The HKS is very easy to install. First, you'll need some wheel ramps or a jack and jack stands. To remove the stock exhaust, you'll just need a 14mm rachet for just 2 bolts, and WD40 and a flathead screwdriver for the 3 rubber hangers (if it's tight). The HKS uses the same 2 bolts to mount it. For the hangers, you're going to use 2 of the 3 stock locations with the same rubber piece. The exhaust will come with an extra metal hanger and bolts. You will have to bolt this extra hanger somewhere towards the center of the car. This part took the longest to install (5 more minutes) cause I had to figure out the right spot. If it's not right, the tip will hit the bumper, but once you get it, it'll be a perfect fit.
