DME headers vs. DC Sports headers

You need to install a nice long resonator. The sound that you are getting is rasp. Will happen when you replace the OEM exhaust manifold with and aftermarket header. Had the same problem with my DME. The only way I was able to get rid of the rasp was by adding 40" of resonator.

Yes since about November last year.


The DME header has a nice collector design that no other header has. In fact, I think it is an excellent header. Not to say DC is not, but DME does make a fine product.

same here with the rust spots. i got it jet-hot coated to fix that. my car dynoed at 162.9 whp and 167.5 wtq. dc gives you a higher mid to higher range torque.

i've had it for about 3 or 4 months, who knows, if you had it before the install

i've had it for about 3 or 4 months, who knows, if you had it before the install

what i meant is that i had the header installed before removing my cat and i still had the weedwacker sound
