oh i see. yea i want a short ram. scared to drive in the rain with a cold air intake

That's the reason why I got a short ram. Although the odds of hydro locking are slim. But with shrot ram there's pretty much no chance. The install is really easy and you shouldn't have any problems with it

i have had an hps short ram for a few months..no problems, it adds a pretty nice sound, barely noticeable gains (as expected). How often are you supposed to clean the filter anyway? cause i have yet to do so

I guess as often as it needs it. I've had mine for about a year and haven't cleaned it yet but it still looks as new as the day I put it in

Sorry for bring up an older thread, I just wanted to know has any one put on the heat shield that came with the intake? I cant seem to fine a way to mount it to the intake there are 3 screw holes but but nothing to attach the screws to.

i had the same problem. i couldnt find a way to mount it in. but you dont really need a heat shield
