Default drop in filter

hello all. I was wondering if anyone out there knows about any aftermarket drop in filters like a K&N. I know that trd makes one, but i think they are way to over priced. if someone has some info please shed some light for me. thanks

k&n make one, if you arent planning on putting an intake on it then i would def. recommend replacing the stock element with a k&n......but you should upgrade to the cold air system

yea but for now i think it would be a waste of money. im still waiting for the supercharger to debut. the stock box is sorta like a cold air. the pipe goes all the way down into the fender. i just modified a short ram intake and the power that it produced was pretty much sad. could not tell the difference, just wasted alot of gas. so im sticking to OEM and going to use a drop in filter for now.

yes of course greddy is nicer. but... the trd comes with the warranty. thats what i want. ive been through so many rx7's from a 2nd gen to 3rd gen. rebuilding motors, bigger turbos etc... the thing with turbos are. they are unreliable. they put so much stress on the engine. so im looking for something that is not too much stress but has some pull. hey silver how is the ride with the srpings on your car? is it un comfortable on long rides? or how about on local steets?
