Default Dyno Alphawerks 4sp

I dynoed my Alphawerks Header and Injen intake recently on hot ___ hell day here in South Florida 97 DEGREES!!! inside the shop lol their ac took a crap.. Take a look at the A/F ratios im using the antifouler mod. 4sp auto TC.
Old dyno on a nice 80 degree day. Only mod was a K&N drop in filter, the Injen axleback is on the title ,but wasent installed at the time. A/F ratios are a bit rich as you can see.
Recent dyno again disregard the title, temp is accurate 97 degree. Only mods were Alphawerks Header and Injen Short ram stock exhaust took off injen exhaust due to rasp . Second run the last run was the best at 142hp 145 tq but i couldnt get that saved. A/F ratio just a bit leaner.

I got the stock exhaust so it sounds about the same, with the Injen short ram i cant hear my own exhaust. Im just waiting like so many ,for a reasonably quiet yet better flowing exhaust. I removed the the stock muffler on the shop, in one run and the numbers were very nice about 147hp 151tq. However this sounded like ___ so i promptly replaced the stock muffler, nontheless it goes to show that a I,H,E on this car offers very good gains.. Remember this a 4sp so the numbers are about 12hp 16tq lower then the 5sp. Not bad for an auto.

His numbers where very good, cooler conditions than me and a 5sp. I almost did hit those numbers when i unbolted the muffler, it sounded really bad though.

I dont think there was ever an argument on this, with the exception of turbo.

Lol hes ignorant dont get worked up over it 5sp have the advantage stock to stock. my baselines are only 126hp 130tq. At least my 4sp is putting the same if not slightly higher 142hp 145tq best so far, as a stock 5sp so i should be able to compete. Oh and my MPG hasent been hit it actually got a bit better.

your throttle response on the auto should be better then a 5spd tc becuase of the mods that you have. however it would be a good race because the manual tc has short gearing which makes it a good sprinter

Yeah, power at the flywheel is the same for auto and manual people.. it's at the wheels where it makes the difference, when gear ratios come into play.

Alpha headers and intake = around 12+ hp? yup thats about right...

those are believable gains.

that other pic with the headers by itself gained 13 hp??? thats such BS...

I was commenting on metalranger33's post about saying autos are faster. But yeah, his wording makes sense, and in my read through I figured it as a different meaning. Oopsies.

I actually got a peak on the 3rd pull of 141.8hp 144.7tq, i lost that printout so i scanned the 2nd pull which is this one.The 10hp 10tq from headers alone is very true, in addition my numbers might have been a bit better if it wasent so damn freaking hot in there. When i left my shirt was drenshed.
