K&N intake, Creative Compacts alum cat back with hi flow car and borla muffler, and WR engine damper kit. The results, 149hp at 5600rpms and 162lbs of tq at 3900 rpms.

The guys at the shop were really impressed as they have never done a tC before. They said that the car was running a bit lean on the bottom end of the rpms but that it smoothed out around the top end.

I guess minus the header thats about right, I posted an article from Import tuner where they used an AEM intake, DC sports header, and DC sports axle back and made 156 and 163. So I would think your on par, however I would have expected more from the whole catback, just affirms the 2 1/4inch pipe on the car stock is pretty adequate, and someone will say what about the S pipe, well that made like 1-2hp last time I saw a post about it.

AEM CAI, DC sports header and axle back made 156 and 163. K&N CAI and CC catback and WR damper made 149 and 162. So im 7 hp off and 1 lb tq off. Im sure the header will easly get me those numbers easly. Where did you see a post about the s-pipe dyno numbers?
I just don't think the cat backs are worth the money. you will have spent more money to do the same thing as the intake headers and axle back. I will tell you though I really had hopes that the catback and S pipe would make a worth the money difference but the stock piping is obviously of decent quality and size. These top name companies didn't make axle backs because they guessed it up, research and development showed it was the best bang for them and for us, its not like they couldn't make a cat back they make a million others. There was an obvious reason.

dyno proven that cat backs add hp/tq. i dont have any real power adders yet. I went with the 2.5 exhuast for a simple reason. boost. im thinking the SC will be better than most people think. beisdes i plan on modding the engine and getting the car to at least 250whp/250wtq with those numbers a bigger cat back is a must. believe me the gain is worth it. also, im sure within the next year, prices will come down as more and more products come out on the matket. look at the k&N intake, it was like $320 when it first came out, now you can get them like $257 shipped.
yeah with the SC the catback may be the best option, but for people staying all motor, I think its a waste of money, but the 2.5inch and SC will definitely be awesome. but for those weekend warriors, K&N, axle back, and a header will suffice

K&N CAI,Alpha werks headers, Creative compacts catback exhaust, 60mm throttle
pulls nice...ive got other all motor mods in the works, just waiting on turbo from

where did you purchase your 60mm throttle body??? i wanna buy one too... its a bigger improvement then s-pipe and probably louder...
by the way. 149whp etc good numbers for all the stuff you got right now... i dont think weapon-r damper kit makes a difference when it comes to dyno, your just staying on one spot.. headers DC or AW should boost you up around 155-157whp.... hmm.. i want mines to be dynoed..
