Yea, theres a reason that toyota put them in the cars stock. They are good plugs and perfect. No need to change unless boosted

Spark plugs will not give you a horse power gain.

if the man wants to spend money.. let him spend it, if he wants to downgrade let him do it i say. sounds like we've given him enough reason not to but if he wants to just let him.

no one has really given any solid reason. More of it sounds like stuff you have heard from someone else . The reason I asked about the E3 plugs is cause their design. They have a center opining that lets the spark come directly into the combustion chamber. ( why this hasn't been done before who knows) Most spark plugs don't have a design that lets this happen. sure the effects of this might be something so minor if any, then again they might not. I wanted to know if anyone on here had them, any problems with them ?

but since everyone think the stock plugs are the best thing in the world I guess not..

The Bosch platinum 4 uses a similar design. Your right, it could be a better plug, but no one has tested them. i would NOT reccomend them in the tC, it has some bad a%% plugs anyways, just pull one and look, even after 40k they look good

Now, take an older vehicle, and compare a cheap copper plug to a e3, you'll probably see a big gain. but with Coil on plug and Iridium(which has the best characteristics in terms of metal for plugs) the stock tC does not need anything different. the gains would be maybe, maybe 1-2 hp, which could just be dyno error....

If nothing else, buy them and try it....

You wouldn't get a performance gain on any car, you would get a dramatic change in overall engine durability and gas mileage.

Unless you are not getting sufficient spark in the first place...
