Default easy CAI install?

Is there any CAI for an 07 TC that doesn't require taking off the bumper and/or fender to install that isn't completely worthless?

If it is CAI, no.. You can get a short ram (injen CAI can be used as short ram just in case you change your mind later).

I have heard that the short ram can cause damage. Is this true? Also, is there a sound and performance difference between the two?

i dont think the SRI can cause damage because if they did why would they make them. With the SRI u get the sound of an intake but not as much performance as a CAI would give u

the 07 Injen CAI doenst require you to take off the bumper or fender. they recommend you to remove the bumper but all you need to do is remove a couple of screws and pull back the peice of plastic that lines the wheel well. its really pretty simple theres a tech article on here somewhere that shows you how to do it pretty good

When I installed my CAI I just popped the plastic fender well out and went in from the bottom. Also, take the whell out of there to give you more room.

Although i hear EVERYWHERE that the injen is the best, i have the weapon R SRI with a homemade CAI conversion kit. But for professional looks, weapon R has their own CAI conversion kit. No bumper removal required. It is basically a flexible hose the fishes down through the fender wall. I personally LOVE my WR SRI. I think it is VERY close to the performance of the injen, even as just a SRI. I would like to see it compared with the CAI conversion kit!!

I put my K&N CAI without taking the bumper or the wheel off.
