tCs can't be chiped, all those other things u mentiened are called piggybacks, which alters the signals going into the ECU and sends a tune map instead, in short words.

Power: Depends on what u have
Pain: Depends on the install and who tunes it
Pricing: expect to pay above $300, price is based on functions.
Theres the e-manage blue: around $300
Ultimate: above $400
Unichip: around $900
blha blha blha :D

they have to be tuned, unless they come with a turbo it. For N/A they would have to be tuned.

i'd say that, unless you're running a bigger head with some other mods, it's not worth it.

they have chips on ebay that sell for $20. pre-tuned. gives you 20+ hp. that is madd jdmz yo~ just ask engifineer about it. he put 3 in his car and now he's running like 197 WHP to the ground. stock.

You don't get the full 20 hp unless you put the sticker on if you doing only n/a and want a base map your best bet probably is a camcon and they have a base setting on their website for the 2azfe.

Unless you're running forced induction or a built engine, a piggy-back computer is a complete waste of money.

not really look at it like ihs

F5 air intake
unichip
MMW headers
full exhaust
pully set
PNP
and 80 MM TB if i rember right.

i saw a tC at speed concept with that set up putting 197 WHP on their dyno.

he spent only 1,800 on it. so it has much power as the TRD supercharger but for half the price..... hows that a waste of time???

80 mm TB? How can that me if our Intake Manifolds can only be ported to 60mm? Did he change the IM? Cuase if so, that he would have spent more than 1,800.

no idea if he did or not he was only there for alittle while. he proably made his own he owns DMS systems * they do metal work and machining work * so if that was a problem than he proably built his own.still even W/O that its still proably goof for the 180 WHP range
