I think an 11 second car is feasible out of the tC. Of course, as a daily driver you'll want to turn the boost down. A custom turbo setup, a sleeved block, and some upgraded driveshafts are necessity for your goal. I think you can do it with about 20K. Just make sure to do your research before diving into it.

I say you buy an S2K and get that greddy turbo kit. S2k is THEEE sexiest car in that price range. The greddy turbo kit is now CARB legal. o yeah you're not from CALi anyway...lol
Yea, a new Skyline is a great idea. Spend all your military money on a car you won't be able to afford to insure.
If you were smart, you'd keep the tC, buy some used crotch-rocket that will do a quarter mile in 10 seconds all day long, and put the rest into an IRA.

Choice #1 keep tC as a daily and buy new car with AWD and turbo powerplant. 65k on stock GTR or 35k on new evo and 30k on mods for new evo.
Choice #2 Get new pistons, rings, rods, head gasket for tC and hope for the best.

you dont need a AWD on a car that was not made for it in the first place, the only thing awd offers is traction the easy way, fwd all you have to do is get the right tires, differential(lsd), ETD...etc anything that will make the car hook up and not burn tires all day....then spend some money on one of the stage 3 scionspeed turbo kits that burn 500hp Maserati's in the 1/4 mile i know they ran around 9 sec on drag radials, there is a video on you tube somewhere look for it
