Default Which Exhaust?

Okay so I'm probably gonna have a DC header and I need some suggestions on which company should get my $$$ for the exhaust (for my tc). I want it to sound good (i've heard my boy's TRD and like it) but I don't want it to be TOO loud! I have a five year old girl and don't want to annoy her. I also don't want to spend more than $500 for it.

What should I get?

Im getting the Precision Muffler axleback..Im hoping it will cure all the rasp from my AW header. It is designed to be quiet with a header which I also like...oh yeah...its under $300 shipped..

A video has already been posted by We Drive Scions and I will make videos after I install mine.

Everyone who's heard mine likes it pretty well...

The TRD exhaust with a header setup is a no-no... raspville....

and PrecisionMuffler.com's setup is cheaper as well...

I'm actually leaning towards the PM axleback as opposed to the Injen. From what I heard in WeDriveScions' video, there's little to no rasp in the higher end RPM, which'll make me happy since I do nothing but drive highway when I go to work.

I wonder how it would sound with just an Injen SRI and no a/m headers?

Probably even deeper... The header raises the tone a bit...

I've got the HKS high power exhaust and DC header and it sounds great! It sounds deeper than the TRD exhaust without the header....my second choice was the evo system, ive heard that sounded good with the header too...

On that PM muffler, would it change the tone at all if you had a muffler shop put a smaller tip on it? Everything I've heard about it is good, but that tip seems a little bit too big for my taste. I'd like to have a close to stock look to the car. Or do those pictures just make it look bigger than it is?

---edit---
nevermind, i went to the website to see some other pics. It looks pretty good with that tip actually, so nevermind. Is the piping on the muffler not mandrel bent?

The tip is the same size as the stock tip...and it is not mandrel bent..but the HP differences are minimal with piping that short. The muffler itself is the most restrictive part and the PM muffler flows way better than the stocker. You probably wouldnt be able to measure the difference between the same setup with mandrel or crush bends on the dyno

I am guessing thats one way they kept the cost down? other than that, it looks like a nice muffler. I'll probably be investing in one of these over the TRD (because I plan on gettin headers too)

As far as I have heard, all axle backs, except ours, are pretty loud with a header on.
