Default exhaust ? for exhaust junkies

i have an 05 tc with a cat back megan drift spec exhaust, i currently have stock exhaust manifold and s pipe, if i buy an invidia s pipe or megan, etc will it work with the stock manifold, will bolts match up, i have to desire to get headers bc i hate rasp i just want a deeper sound from the exhaust, need some feedback on this thanks.

Yes, both of those s-pipes would work on the stock header. All of the drop in exhaust products interchange with every one on the market, including stock parts. For example, the megan mid section would work with the stock axel back and the stock s-pipe..... or any axel back for the tc would work with stock mid section. Catch my drift.... all the flanges mate correctly whether their oem or aftermarket and everything in between.

If your looking for sound, not necessarliy performance, then i wouldnt change the header. Changing the header to a DME or DC header would give you the most hp gains with regards to modding the exhaust, but also the most rasp. I think sound wise, youd be fine with the megan drift spec and a megan s-pipe. Dont buy from Invidia, I thought their product was shi*. Ive had my megan s-pipe for a while now with no problems.

Sry if im wrong but i always thought headers made it sound raspy and made it scream rather then a deep, throaty sound.
