i'm trying to decide on greddy ti or hks hi-power, i done research on both, heard sounds on youtube but i want to hear from the ppl who have them thxs.

 

I have the HKS HI-Power with custom mid pipe and glass pack and its super loud and deep, like just going at 2k rpms I can feel my whole car shaking from the vibrations. Also quite a bit of drone so if you can deal with that or if your looking for a really loud exhaust go with that. As far as the other one I have no idea how that sounds in person.

i have the HKS and not a fan of the angle. would have gone with ti-c if i had the money for it.

 

the greddy's canister is smaller (narrower/thinner) and straighter (less angled) than hks. whatever floats your boat. i prefer fatter and angled canisters, so the HKS was the obvious choice for me. they both sound about the same, but you can put an optional silencer on the HKS (not sure about the greddy)

Well you are not going to get any power from any of those exhausts.

Well no exhaust really for the tC. You could get a hearder and a full exhaust all the way back and it would only get you a few hp. You wouldn't feel a huge difference in power. The only real way to get power from the tC is a turbo. Exhausts are more for sounds and looks for our cars.

 

Greddy is loud and after driving with it for an hour gets annoying......

 

lol for sound, my cousin has a dyno machine all exhaust maks hp even if its 1hp. full exhaust header and intake make more of a differance. not tryn to be cocky but i know what i know.

 

WTF is 1hp going to do? Hell the 5 would get with a full exhaust will do basically nothing

 

yeah, i don't know that if you're looking for noticeable power that an exhaust would be the first mod to do. if you're not willing to go for forced induction go for an intake or headers first.
