exhaust got quieter?
I have an Injen exhaust and I first I thought I had gotten used to it until other people said it. It had a deep growl and now its not really there. If I would accelerate fast and reach WOT I would hear my exhaust really loud and then kinda quiet down and hear my CAI. Now when I do that I basically only hear my CAI. The exhaust has kind of a deep growl if I accelerate slowly but nowhere near as loud as it used to be.
Any ideas?

hmm perhaps your car adjusted to the kind of pressure and whatnot from having your exhaust? I've got a tsudo exhaust and I've noticed mine got quieter also, but then again we've been having cooler weather here so i dunno if that affects it. so maybe its weather??
cooler weather would have made your CAI louder... thus exhaust would seem quieter. as stated, "CAI" = Cold air intake...you chose to feed cold air, so the colder the better for u right?
don't complain it's overtaking your exhaust note.
I still don't know what caused it. What I do now recall is that even though I bought my car brand new it did not have a gasket between the midpipe and exhaust pipe, and I just installed it like that. Could that be a reason? I plan on putting one on possibly this weekend.
