i have a megan racing header withthe megan mid pipe with a magnaflow muffler. and it is quieter but has a buzzy high pitch sound. what axle back will give my car a low deep tone.

With a header, NOTHING will give you a low deep tone on a scion tC.

So get rid of the header and keep the midpipe and magnaflow muffler and it will sound awesome! Trust me, I know from experience about 5 times over with the tC

if u use a large resonator, it should go back to a deep tone...but with an aftermarket header...it's not easy

yeah you need big piping with 1 very large or 2 decent size resonators on it. header isnt worth the hassle or money in my opinion

nothing will give u deep tone with a header on our cars. ive had the megan racing header to tip exhaust, dc header with zpi exhaust and now ill be running it with the skunk 2 exhaust and they all sound the same i even tried doing the resenator thing, wasnt worth it.

i had a side exit with the stock mid pipe for about six months and it sounded good but it was too loud. so i got te megan mid pipe and put a magnaflow muffler on it, its not too high pitched but it buzzes between 3k to 5 k rpm it sounded good with out the magnaflow but was way too loud. i need to find the right muffler combo.
