Default exhaust help?!

Well im planning to order my exhaust soon and i wanted to go magnaflow. The thing is i was thinking of getting MMW header as well and the s-pipe is 2.5". When i was lookin at info on the magnaflow it says 2.25/2.5", so im confused will it fit or not? and has anyone seen a better price for it then this site? http://www.magnaflowplanet.com/produ...uctid=6445?tw1 its 436.05 shipped. Thanks in advance

I went with a Strup Header. Good quality and saved money. Not to mention bolted on like it was OEM. Heres the link:

Check it out and see what yo think.

The Magnaflow catback is 2.25" except for the section which clamps onto the stock midpipe, behind the cat, which is actually 60mm (~2.36"). For that section they have to use a 2.5" clamp, and thus the confusion. Here's the install sheet:

http://www.magnaflow.com/07techtips/pdfs/16640.pdf

What you should keep in mind is that a header greatly increases the overall noise (+ rasp) of any exhaust system, even the stock. All the aftermarket exhausts are louder than stock, so you will probably need to have a resonator added to the midpipe to reduce the noise/rasp to a bearable level. But first you should check the exhaust clip thread and other posts with your setup to see if MMW header + Magnaflow catback sound is something you can live with.

If it turns out to be louder than you want, and you still want the header, then you will need a resonator, so it wouldn't make sense to buy this exhaust and have to cut up your shiny new midpipe. Better to just buy an axleback and have your stock resonator cut out and replaced.
