I tried looking this up but couldnt find anything i just purchased a megan drift spec catback and noticed that it has no fittings for 02 sensor ugh so was wondering if i can connect the catbacks mid pipe and end piece to my 2.5 s - pipe? from what i gather i can but not sure hate too learn the hard way lol or could i take out my trd axleback and replace it with the catback rear ?it seems i can just wondering if some more work or parts are involved? i have dc headers on and no cel and was also wondering if i can put on the catback by s pipe am i gonna have a cel for losing the second cat? next year i think their gonna test my emissions have an 07 tc in mass boston and need my inspection sticker since im a daily driver any help would help thanks might have to ditch the cat and get a mid doh

 

Not entirely sure of the question but I'll answer as thoroughly as possible. The only pipes that need an o2 sensor are the header and the s-pipe. A catback includes a midpipe and axleback and does not need an o2 sensor. However, the midpipe has the 2nd cat so check your state on if it's required.

 

you don't have any o2 sensors past the s-pipe. that is the last one, so you don't need to worry about any more on the rest of the exhaust.

 

i actually feel stupid ;lol my cars in the shop getting my new kamanari body kit on i just installed the headers and s pipe and just bought and only having the exhaust the gasket and screws that came with it threw me off because they look just like the header s - pipe screws and gasket i installed before so was thinking it connected to header doh but realize now how it comes together now but still wondering if im gonna get a cel for deleting the second cat? i have dc headers on now and have driving 500 miles and no cel yet

 

no. there's no way any of the O2 sensors will know if there's a cat on your midpipe or not. you will get a cel from the s-pipe o2 sensor though because of your header.
