Default Exhaust and Intake help!!!!!

I want a raspy free and very deep sound exhaust, which i got no idea which one to get. I already have Injen intake in mind. So what will be the best combination to have great deep sound?

if youre willing to pay a lot for an exhaust, in my opinion, the dezod N/A exhaust is probably best for a deep sound. but realistically, we cant really get a deep wrx style sounding exhaust because of our engine.

I have an injen cold air intake with a Greddy cat-bck exhuast system and I love the way it sounds its very close to what a G35 sounds like! Its a deep growl.... Im with you i hate those nasty high pitched cars they sound like crap and their exhuast goes faster then thier car does!

well... what you're wanting can be done, but just remember that if you use a solution to change the exhaust tone by say, having a resonator welded in-line, in general you'll cancel out any of the small whp gains you'd get from an aftermarket performance header on an N/A setup.
I don't mind the exhaust tone I have w/mine. Running an Injen CAI, Megan Racing header, and Injen SES exhaust. A fellow tC friend of mine is running the TRD CAI & TRD Axle back exhaust with no other mods to the intake/exhaust system and he personally like the deeper tone from using that combo.

FYI, the intake mentioned in this thread has no correlation to exhaust note. If you want to get the Injen, go for it. IMO its the best bang for the buck as far as intakes go.

For the exhaust, there is an exhaust thread around here. SEARCH the forum and youtube to find other tC's with similar setups. This will be your BEST option to chose what you feel is right for your vehicle.

its just to bad greddy never came out with a cat back, just an axleback.

ive owned EVERY greddy exhaust besides the DT. and IMO the best louder sounding one was the evo2 with NO HEADER. it pops and growls when you let off the gas and its deep as hell, i currently have the Greddy SE and i love this thing too. but another deep exhaust i think would be the Greddy TIC or the Injen Axleback. ive owned the TIC and my boy owns the Injen and there pretty deep and pops

I mentioned greedy too, but i still can hear the raspy sound on the youtube sample.
Does it make the sound alot better if i add a magnaflow resonator to the greedy evo2?

Injen, AEM, or Fugita are all good intakes.

for what sounds the best for both, youtube it. they have thousands and thousands of scion tC videos of intakes and exhausts lol

videos dont make any exhaust sound good IMO

you add a resonator to a greddy evo2 and alot of rasp will be toned down.

IMO the deepest sounding exhaust ive heard is the injen. my boy TCday on here has it i was shocked when i heard how deep and poppy it was

every header will give you rasp.

you need to get a resonator installed on the midpipe to limit the rasp.

some designs cause less rasp. I cant remember if it is the 4-2-1 or the 4-1 design that has less rasp but both will still cause rasp without a resonator or two.

4-2-1 headers are the way to go, sadly I think theres only 1-2 designed that way for the tC.
