I would like to hear peoples opinions on what the best exhaust is to get if i want a good clean low sound, preferbaly not loud, and good performance.

 

i'm looking at getting an exhaust in the near future. I have really cut my choice down to 2 styles. the HKS and the INJEN. i think those 2 are the ones i'm looking at. I just wish they were cat-back exhaust.

 

please search first. it has been discussed many times.

the best sounding one is TRD but do not add a header to it without also adding a larger perferated core resonator

 

TRD sounds good but I heard performance is an issue. I went with the HKS Hi Power exhaust. It sounds really good and I felt an upgrade in performance.

Im getting my Injen exhaust soon. And from what ive heard of it, i like it the best.

 

like what txtC112 said, HKS and Injen are the best bet. I actually heard the HKS in person at a shop I go to and I like the clarity and the deep sound it produces. From a video I heard of the Injen, it sounded raspy to me but I'm not gonna judge it by a low-quality vid clip. I went ahead with the HKS because I like the JDM look (angle) and the sound.. GO HKS!
