Default FailSafe Mode

Does anyone know how to delete the MAF sensor? I'm running the Hydra Nemesis which is a standalone but leaves the stock ECU in the loop. The car isn't seeing the MAF sensor anymore and I believe its throwing itself into Failsafe mode.

Does anyone know how to bypass either the MAF or Failsafe mode?

According to their site, the only things the stock ECU is controlling at this point are the dash functions and the drive by wire - the MAF shouldn't be an issue.

You're right but the stock ecu lets the hydra know what the throttle position is and since it doesn't see the MAF sensor, it says hey, im not letting the throttle go pass 16%

I thought about suggesting that, but I figured there was another way so I kept my mouth shut - I'm assuming swapping to a cable is the only way?

yeah that is the only way because you have to get the stock ecu from changing the throttle signal to only 16% regardless to the standalone management system.
