Default Fitting AEM CAI to a 2007 TC

I have an AEM one on the way...the site whose information I based my buying decision on decieved me; I could've sworn the 07's engine was identical. Is there any way to adapt the AEM CAI to fit?

The 07's MAF sensor on the tC's are different than the 05/06 tC's. There's no way you can get it to work if your got the 05/06 model.

Since the 07's MAF is too small, it's really criminal that they can't just release a small part to make it fit. I mean, jerryrigging it yourself wouldn't be the best idea, but surely AEM could make a new little flange for it.

Actually, someone on here did get the 05-06 MAF to work with an 07 intake. I'm not sure what they had to do or buy, but it is possible. I wouldn't suggest doing the mod for a long period of time, though.

well.. the wiring is completely different for both MAFs as well.... so you'd need to rewire it and also make sure it's compatible...

(assuming you meant install an '05-'06 MAF into an '07?)

which then will allow '05-'06 intake to work on '07 car...
i think i've heard it's been done before. but nothing certain

I did get the injen intake, it's on its way. The AEM is up on ebay, where it will surely make a quick demise. $180...i'm taking a loss on it.
