Default Found the problem, broken hanger.

On a regular school parking lot, theres those blocks that prevent you from backing up too much, I backed my Injen exhaust into it. Its all crooked now and when im at a stop, it rattles like no other. On neutral its fine obviously, but im afraid maybe the whole exhaust to possibly the headers may be out of whack. Should I expect this? I may take it to my mechanic but I might just do a checkup myself, what should I look for.

EDITTTTTTTTTT

The hanger def broke, the middle hanger, im assuming I need to get it weld. Correct? Anyone know how much this should cost to fix.

I would check to see if your hangers are bent. If you're lucky, you might just be able to bend those back to normal and have it fit. I don't think it would go as far back as your header though.

You have a flex pipe between the header and exhaust which should protect your header some what. Get under the car and check it out though. I bet you bent some hangers and such. If it is too bad, you may want to get an exhaust shop to look at it see if they can bend it out. I only say this because every time I try to bend something out I make it worse.

you most likely bent the hangers on the can, climb under and take a look and see where it is hitting,it is pretty hard to bust the entire exhaust short of like a 15mph roll in to the curb.

The exhaust is clearly not centered in the opening provided in the bumper. The tip is really hitting the bumper, thats where all the noise is coming from. I'll try to get a peak tomorrow if anything is bent.

Yeah, maybe $20 at the most. I just had my hangers heated and bent, also part of my mid-pipe cut, and part of the muffler welded for $25 total, but I also did a bit of the work with the guy.
