Full Exhaust question
Well I wanna get a full exhuast S-Pipe and midpipe to open up my exhuast and free up some air so the car can breathe better, but i wanna keep my trd muffler cause i loveee the sound.
I know the S-Pipe would be 2.5 opening and the midpipe would be 2.5
Wouldn't the header be 2.25 connecting to a 2.5 opening causing a leak ? ( I dont wanna change my header. so it will be just from S-Pipe on back)
The trd muffler opening to connect to the midpipe would also be small right ? Think there is a way of cutting off the piping of the muffler and making it bigger to connect flushly with the 2.5inch midpipe ?

there shouldnt be any fitment/leakage from the header to the spipe (unless it is bad design) because of the way they match up. the donut gasket and the design of the spipe mate fine with the header. i have a stock header with a 2.5 spipe.
midpipe to the axelback, that might, im not too sure. because my axelback is also 2.5

The gaskets will prevent leaks. I am wondering however, what you would use instead of your mid-pipe if plan to use the trd muffler. Most exhausts do not fit OEM, meaning they may connect at different points. That leaves you with 3 options, ZPI, Megan OE-RS, and Custom. Since you are supercharged Megan is out of the equation since its only 2.25" in diameter. That leaves you with custom and ZPI.
