Default get flamethrowers ready. gold exhaust.

my friend was telling me about one of his modified mags(pretty sure thats what it was), in it. it had a list of exhausts for the tC. pictures. and some small write up. ANYWAYS.

he said that in the list there was one, that there was like a muffler, with a small tip (4 inch or so, similar to the TRD or something) but it was like a light gold/yellow color. ever since then, ive had him looking for the magazine to find that exhaust. and ive looked online, in vain. for this exhaust. for some reason i cant get the idea of this outta my head. i know some will call rice on this. but in all honesty. i think that it would actually look pretty decent on my AP...

before you jump to conclusions. know that in my vision of this. i see it as a SLIGHT gold color. almost a fair bronze/yellow. that with some other SLIGHT accents of gold. on the blue-AP color. i think would look ____ing NICE. a little bit rice. but it could be elegant if done correctly. which i would do.

sounds like Magnaflow to me. yes I know a majority out there are silver in color, but there are a few that I have seen that are a goldish like you are describing. Usually the tip has Magnaflow's logo on it too...

I have the DC sports exhaust and after having it for over a year, the tip is now a gold/bronze color. I think it looks nice.

I would think it would be nice if it were matched to some gold/bronze rims on a NBM or other blue color....

yeah, but would it be possible to like heat-treat the exhaust tip so its like that from the start, the tips dont usually get hot enough to do that. because thats basically what im looking for. is that color.

Acutally they do get that hot.....or at least hot enough to turn a silver stainless steel pipe to gold/bronze....like I said before the tip on my DC exhaust is the exact same color as the header above.

does asking an unrelated question rob a thread?

I you search will will find out that it will void your warrenty only if the dealership can prove that it was the cause of the problem.
