i got an 07 and already got injen cai and tsudo catback.
i wanna get headers but should i change the mid pipe and s pipe and pulley also?
and what does it mean when the headers say 4-2-1 and 4-1?
and which headers should i get

um.... if you got a catback i see no reason for you to get another midpipe. if you do get aftermarket an header and s-pipe, be prepared to get rasp and lots of it. pulley, i'm not so sure of, since i felt minimal differences when i had it installed. 4-2-1 just means 4 pipes become 2 then 1, and 4-1 means 4 pipes become 1. but iirc, there's only 1 4-2-1 header for the tC

yea u have catback so no need for new midpips the new header not headers...should just bolt on and get 4-2-1 they give more power if u going for performance

from my experience with my old car, a 4-2-1 header will have better low end power while the 4-1 header does better up top.

^no.^ 4-2-1 gets less backpressure, meaning that it'll get worse low end, but getting a bit more pull in the top end. 4-1 will only lose a bit of lowend torque, but gain only a bit in the higher revs.

i recall the exact opposite...I thought 4-2-1 had more low end torque.

Also MMW, Tsudo, and Mazzuri make 4-2-1 headers but they're pretty much the same design, tsudo bein the cheapest

get the s-pipe and the pulley, headers give out rasp and you will have you check engine light on which will set the car in limp more, yes there is a anti-fouler for it but it's a 50/50 chance it'll work. as for the pulley i like mine because i did feel that it helped out abit more. which brand of headers to go with...i'd have to go with DME and my reason is because i have not heard any negative reviews about them and let say you plan on getting the supercharger in the future and these headers will give it enough clearance so it won't rub. i have megan and there ok i'm sure mine leak but eh the heck with it LOL.

for headers go with either DME, DC, or MMW. alphawerks aren't made anymore and good luck finding them in the classifieds, megan leak and they still have issues which is why they cost less then the rest.
MMW comes with the s-pipe as well but it's pricey=$600
DME & DC are about $300 and with a megan s-pipe you are looking to spend about $500 but that is all up to you.
