ok called my uncle cause he a mechanic to get his opion and he said trying to get it out from underneathe the car is a pain in the !@#....what you should do is unplug the sensor first then unbolt the pipe then take the pipe out then you can work out taking the sensor out with more work room then just take the sensor put it on the new pipe bolt it up and plug it in then your all done

no do what m back in i unpluged the 02 sensor just by reaching up there and releasing the little notch comes right out then i went ahead and unbolted the bolts i put back in pipe came right out..i used a 22 mm wrench came right out.......then i put the sensor in the new pipe bolted it up then plugeg it in and boom done......easiest way to do it instead of killing yourself underneathe the car.......just thought i would share this i open this thread a few mintues after i called him to see what he thought would be and it made sense cause he said even with the right tool just dont have enough room to work with so this way the pipe is off the car and you can work on it easier thats what i did...just glad i didnt have to buy a new one overall everything is installed and fine feel little bit of a difference sounds little deeper but the stock downpipe is just disgusting looks like some just put the differenet sizes pipe on and called it a day...

$3 tax alone is $3 i guess it always good to have one if you cant take the pipe off and need to replace the sensor

unplug the sensor at the clip and take pipe out,it is so much easier to get out then.......also use either a O2 sensor wrench or a 2 sided or 6 sided wrench so you do not strip the thing.
