Default Go-Baby-GO! Zex Wet Nitrous System

For today I only have teaser pictures, I plan on doing the install tomorrow if I have time... I'm also going to do a FULL write-up with pics, I didn't find any on here... I'm going to be installing the 55 shot for now, the kit has a choice between 55, 65, and 75, but they recommend some ign retarding for the last two... I will be using this same fourm for the write up for those that are interested...

My system contains the following:
Zex Wet Nitrous System - for Scion tC
Bottle Pressure Gauge
Nitrous Purge Kit
Rapid-Fire Purge add-on Controller with Blue LED
New Spark Plugs (Buying these tomorrow when I fill the tank)

The Kit

Purge Kit

Rapid-Fire Kit, and yes those are Ear Plugs that came with it

Both

Nitrous Kit

Whole Kit

Pressure Gauge

Honestly, I'm a little worried about some possible outcomes of using Nitrous Oxide (Seen some bad videos on YouTube)... There's a video of a tC dyno-ing 221whp with a 50 shot
So, Hopefully I'll make a little more with the 55 shot... I'll see how the car like the 55 shot, maybe in the spring time I'll up it to 75 with a new fuel pump and some engine management (TBD)...

Might as well start saving for some new internals lol...

Kind of give you an idea with numbers:

Here are my numbers without spray:

Reaction: .2419
60 ft: 2.3041
1/8 ET: 10.1011
1/8 MPH: 71.29
1000' ET: 13.0891
1/4 ET: 15.6233
1/4 MPH: 89.10

Here are the numbers with the 75 Shot:

Reaction: .5682
60 ft: 2.4277
1/8 ET: 9.8038
1/8 MPH: 9.8038
1000' ET: 12.5219
1/4 ET: 14.7898
1/4 MPH: 98.92

Plus I ran a 55shot, then a 65shot, and finally a 75shot for awhile and never had a problem. Good Luck you should be fine.

This will only be cool if you actually use the "GO-BABY-GO" button.

Yes, I'll be making a full write-up with pictures... I should have some time today to install it (hopefully)... I'll update this thread rather than make a new one...

Ok, Just got the tank filled up ($47.00 with a "$5.00 service fee ")... I'm gonna get started on it in a bit... They didn't have the plugs I needed in stock, so I may have to order those from the ZEX website, still have one more store I'm gonna check out first... Should take me a good few hours to install this setup + do the write-up with pics...

Ummm Yaa... Whoever wrote down a Quick 2-Hour instal in the manual -> ... I'm about 85% done, almost 12 Hours later!... I still need to run the hose from the bottle in the trunk to the Control Unit, also wire up the purge with power and a switch... The Nitrous kit itself is all done under the hood and wired up... I have a total of 56 Pictures so far but here is a quick few teasers again...

Check out the Purge, took a little work to make the pipe like that (it comes in the box as about 12 straight inches). Doesn't interfear with the hood closing or anything around it - I got a lot further than whats in this picture

And here it is with the hood closed

So, there are the teasers - Like I said, I have 56 pictures so far and I WILL be making a DIY for this kit... I have a 50/50 chance of working on it some more tomorrow, but I may have to wait till Saturday

I have to finish a 7 page paper that's due today for one of my classes... As soon as I finish it I hope to have a little time to work some more on this, at least get the Purge wired up with the Rapid-Fire module if I can't do the bottle today... I'll keep you guys posted with updates... Any one have any ideas for plugs?...
