Default Going To Buy K&N CAI

sometime in the immediate future i want to buy a K&N cold air intake now i have never done any work on a car before but i have read the instructions online on k&N's website and it seems very simple and you don't have to take off the bumper like the injen intakes but anyway do you guys think it would be as simple enough job for someone who hasn't done any work on a car before?

yea its actually pretty easy for a first mod.

personally i'd do HID's first because a cold air intake isnt going to yield you at much power, i'd rather see better, and put that money for the intake aside and save up for a turbo kit. either that or some coilovers.

Intake is pretty easy with instructions, you'll be fine. I did sri though and not a cai.

just to let you know, handle the MAF sensor well. Don't like bump it to areas b/c ur CEL light might come on and mess that thing up. except that, enjoy installing

its really easy, im running the Futijta CAI, the instructions told me to take the bumper off but i just took the wheel off and the fender well splash guards and had perfect access, no problemo, good luck on the install bro

ya, its easy. If your uncomfortable ask someone in your regional forum if they could lend a hand. They may ask for food or beer in return however.
