Default Got my Precision Muffler setup

So i contacted Gabe and told me that I wanted a little more growl than his usual PM exhaust but nothing to loud,so i went in and he hooked it up with a nice Magnaflow setup, it's the same muffler found on his dual exhaust, except... it's just one =p

the sound is absolutely amazing with a nice quiet growl in low rpms then accenting the CAI beautifully in the upper RPMS, thanks Gabe for the great work!

I thought they used the magnaflow on all their exhausts?

gabe deals alot and primarily with magnaflow due to it's warranty and other great aspects.

but he does and can use different style mufflers and such.. which for this exhaust.. is different from his usual axleback.

i'll be going to them soon for an exhaust. can you please post some sound clips? i was going to get their regular axle back but if this is better i'll go with it. also what did you pay? was it the normal 250 (i think) that they charge for the PM axle back?

pricing is about the same, and it's 275 for the regular (www.precisionmuffler.com) but I'm not sure if I can get a soundclip maybe Trung can help me? my pics are from my cam phone so i dont have a source to record sound, but if ur around the bay area we can maybe set up something.

well... one of the things about gabe's setups is how quiet they usually are.... which is why there isn't really a sound clip of his normal axleback.

i don't have much of a means to record sound really except perhaps using a friend's camera that's able to record videos.

whatever...

I was told that the Precision Muffler that gabe does sounds like the TRD muffler, but it gives more HP than the TRD. Is this true. I would like to get the TRD muffler for the sound, but if I can get some HP out of it, then I would like to get one from Gabe.

i think TRD is the worst performing muffler, but it's a night and day difference between his regular PM muffler and the TRD one, this one is a bit closer, but still quieter than the TRD

Believe it or not, I used a Magnaflow on this vehicle as well. He wanted more sound than our usual quiet system and wanted to try out this design anyway. Sounded great and was still not too loud. I was impressed as well. :D
