Default Got OBX header and Spipe on my 07.

All I can say is that anyone who second guesses this header is wrong. The quality is top notch. The header and spipe bolted up no problem. The only thing that I had to modify was my dipstick. I had to hit it a little with a hammer to move it about half an inch. Is that common on the 05-06's? Just wanted to let you guys know that OBX did a fine job. It looks great, i think its a replica of the DC sports header.

bump for pics!!!!! I too was thinking about getting the OBX header and s-pipe for my tC since I have OBX header installed on my 98 corolla. I noticed some pretty good gains when I installed it. Let us know how much of an improvement it did to your tC and if it sounds raspy or not...

Draxas S-pipe and exhaust. S-pipe is same size as exhaust piping. OBX is actually closer to stock sizing. Almost no gain if any. I'm guessing 1-3 whp?

theres already a thread for this

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ght=obx+header

when i said stock, i was pointing at the spipe. i hope people realize that directly on top of one of the bends of the pipe is your intake manifold. thats why theres a heat shield on the stock pipe.

vs megan's spipe

They do, but header it doesnt matter... Intakes still wont work because of the flange/mounting design.

You might want to measure for yourself, but if the seller says that S-pipe is 2.25 all the way through, ask him/her to explain why there's 2 different pipe sizings welded together. Unless the pipe that looks wider is ticker as well, but that would be really sh*ty design.

The problem is that with the knock off brand header, such as OBX and also the one I got at AutoZone for 210, yes they are shaped like the aftermarket header from other companies, but rarely are they actually tested for "performance." Give it about 2-3 months and that "stainless steel" will actually begin to have rust spots.

Mine has started already and it's been 2 months. I'm getting Alphwerks in the spring or DC Sport ceramic coated. Still undecided but I'm leaning towards the Alphawerks.

Good luck with the install and driving.
