im dying to get this exhaust. How does it sound? does it rattle? or sputter when decreasing in speed? Plus what I have been looking for for hours. A vid. Only thingI found was a Civic with it on. Did you feel a difference when it came on? Also, I hear they are very quiet... that true?> Sry for all the quesions..Im just flippin out to get this exhaust. The fat check is comming soon and I wanna be prepared. TIA

 

I really like the Greddy exhaust. I was set on the HKS until I saw how slanted it came out. It's still a nice deep, deep sounding exhaust though.

As for the Greddy- When I first got it installed it was a little louder than I had expected. After a week or so it got a lot quieter. At idle it doesn't sound like you even have an exhaust really, so in that sense it does sound stock. Give it a little gas and it's a nice deep rumble. Definitely doesn't sound ricey at all. And when you're slowing down it doesn't "sputter." It doesn't resonate in the car and overall in the looks and sound department I'm very very happy with it! In the exhaust shootout it dyno'd +6hp at the wheels with just the exhaust I believe, so you'll definitely get some power out of it. I'd like to say I felt it, but I don't really redline my baby all that much.

And to anwer your other questions from PM- no, i don't have any other performance mods- just springs and exhaust. Again, very very happy with it!

Awsome! going on monday to check out costs of everything at miami muffler. Woot. Im excited. and 6+!? I believe with the axleback I believe its called, it was only like a 1-2 more whp. Let me see if I can find that thread...

Its cool? Im not sure how to read that.. im guess from max power stock=136.84 to 142.50 is a 6 something more whp.. Am I correct?

hey..not to be a dick or anything, but your entire car is so clean, but the spoiler just kills the look. the C/F spoiler would only look good on a dark car, not on a white car like yours IMHO..

however the exhaust is pretty nice, a friend has one and i love it.

I don't think you're being a dick at all. You're totally entitled to your opinion. I had doubts about how it would look at first too, but it has grown on me and I can honestly say you're the first person who has said they didn't like it. No biggie either way

Thanks man! I carried the wheels over from my 2000 Celica. I wish they were black now, but who knows, maybe I’ll get them powder-coated this summer?

And I love the tires, but they are a little noisy…

I wish I had a camera that could record the sound, but all I have is a D-SLR. I don’t think anyone could not be happy with the exhaust, unless you’re looking for something super loud.

 

So far www.showstoppersusa.com is the cheapest I've seen online. Thanks for the site, Will be buying soon, just dont like how everypic is the same! All catbacks. No actual pix of axlebacks of such. I'll call altogether. Gonna have it installed for 45 bucks.
