Anyone know the tip size on the Greddy SP2? (i.d. and/or o.d.)

I've searched but come up with several different answers ...3"-3.5" to 4"-4.5"-etc...

i believe the tip is 5" in diameter and the pipe size is 2.5 in diameter.

 

4.52" x 4.33" tip size
2.36" pipe diameter

 

Too big!
For me anyway, i'm having my oem tip welded on when i get my resonator welded in.

Tip is 115 x 110mm. The piping is 60mm.

 

I was thinkin the same thing. I'm getting a 4" ss tip from vibrant performance if the GReddy one looks too big once I get this thing on.

 

why not agency power?

check out technique garage. good deal for a titanium exhaust... weights alot less too.

 

wonder how it will look on the tC. I consider a 4 inch tip quite big already, can't imagine anything bigger than that.

 

Its prolly a great exhaust but...

1. totally different exhaust style.
2. I'm quieting down from the ZPI cat-back.
3. that rainbow shtuff everyone loves is fake heat discoloration. Polished stainless steel, ti and chrome will do that when heated. The only place it will do it up to and maybe past gold or blue naturally on a normal car is at the header. The muffler on a car is way to far away to get that kind of heat.

I'm getting the SP2 cause its pretty quiet. If I want more sound I'll step up to the Evo2. If the tip is too big I'll chop it and attach another.



Me too but my ZPI had a 4" tip and in proportion it looks totally fine, not coffee can-ish at all. I am however worried about anything bigger than 4" being too big ... hence this thread.
