If that is true... than major props to the tc. But where's the proof?
go on clubsciontc and look around.. there's 4-5 people that have done it.

Actually people are running 16.5's in the quarter mile. I knew 15.5 was too quick for the tc.

The 2004 type-S rsx's run low to mid 15's. And they have about 35 more whp and weigh less.

Where are you getting your info? The TC with a good driver can do 15.7 or less all day. And a RSX type s will easily do 14.8 stock. Need new stats bud.

I am talking about the 2002 Rsx-S with 200 whp. My Stats are accurate. I've been into the rsx for a while now. I post at clubrsx. and my brother owns a type-s and took it to the track. The type s can only get high 14's according to magazines. That is with pro. drivers under ideal driving conditions. (elevation, temperature, etc.)

Bone stock my brother ran a 15.4 with his type-s. Others ran the same. The best times were low 15's (15.2).

There is no way the tc can run a 15.5 when it has 40 less hp at the engine and about 35 less hp at the wheels. Not to mention its almost over 150 lbs heavier.

Get YOUR facts straight. I am not making up numbers for the rsx-s. I phsyically saw people run at the quarter mile. Don't beleive the bull____ magazine times you read. As for comparing the tc to the type-s... use some logic. A car that weighs less and has more power than another car will run faster.

Oh and for the record. The Nissan Spec V's which also have more power (175hp) than the tc, weigh less and are six speeds will NOT get under 15.6.

it may have 200 hp, but it only has 142 tq. so the TC is +20 there.
and the greatest deciding factor is the shape of the hp curve, not the max hp.

peak horsepower and a broad torque range are 2 completely different animals... that and GEARING make a huge difference. none of this really matters unless people start posting timesheets anyways.

besides... 15 seconds is slow. 14.8 is slow. 15.2 is slow. 15.5 is slow.

when you start getting to low 13's thats when it starts getting fun

It also depends on the driver and driving conditions. The type-S's are capable of high 14's. I'm talkin about avg. drivers who went to the track with bone stock cars. You put an injen intake on a Type S and your lookin at close to 10whp. It's a little unfair to compare the cars when they're not stock. Either way with just a SS and Exhasut if you hit a 15.6 i will give you MAJOR props.

I'll have to take my car to the track soon as well. That way i'll know for sure what the tc's are capable. I'm a decent driver and with I/E i doubt i'll break 15's.
