whats the difference between the 4-2-1 and the 4-1. like the power difference, durability?

from what i know, 4-2-1 gives getter low end torque, while 4-1 gives top end. i am going with 4-2-1 cuz the tc top end is pretty good.

i actually think its the opposite... i'm not sure. i THINK a 4-2-1 will actually cause you to lose some lowend torque because it creates less backpressure, but you can get it all back in the high end.
the tC comes stock with a relatively good amount of torque, but the high end doesn't shine as well.

4-2-1 allows better power throughout the band, 4-1 focuses more on the top end..

^ thats what i though.... and personaly i think that the tC has no low end but good high.

huh.. well i felt a huge loss in pull after i installed my mmw which is one of the few true 4-2-1 headers.

thats kinda weird because the tC is definitely a torquey car....

try driving a civic with vtec
