Default Header A/F sensor acuracy

I was just wondering if anyone knew how accurate the header O2 sensor is for relaying an a/f reading. Im about to get on spray and instead of dropping 300 bucks on a wideband o2 system, i figure i can one of the 80 dollar gauges that tap into your stock sensors since im not gonna be spraying but at the track maybe once a month.

Thanks

well i'd say it's probably pretty accurate sense toyota relys on it to tell your ecu which fule map to use.
