Any header you add will make it raspy.

The Monster MotorWorks header/spipe combo is probably one of the better ones as far as quality and power go. But yes, you will get rasp.

Best way to get rid of it would be to go to a muffler shop and have them weld in a new resonator. Probably a long one.

The resonator is a chamber that kinda reduces the amount of noise coming out of the exhaust. Something like that anyways... so it cuts down some of that extra unwanted noise that becomes rasp. Our cars do have one in the OEM exhaust, but it's not made to handle the changes of a new header or something that would cause the raspy sound. Any decent shop or muffler place should be able to weld one in without much issue. Not sure how much $ though.

To tell you the truth its just something your gonna have to live with.
If you think its gonna annoy you then you better not put one.
It personally doesnt annoy me at all. It isnt that bad.
