and i have no luck finding the setup in my topic title..

the best so far is monkeysauce's megan Spipe, Megan Mid-pipe, and Megan OE

My setup is Megan S-pipe, Megan Mid, and TRD exhaust.. on thursday i will be trading my friend for his megan OE axle back because I want a Megan Header. I think with a Full Megan Exhaust setup with the OE axle back will produce minimal to no rasp WITHOUT putting a resonator on.

If anyone has this setup or heard a similar set up please inform me on how it sounds.. thanks

 

You will still get rasp with any header if you do not add a resonator.

i have alphawerks w/ SP2 exhaust and theres little to no rasp

but as far as your whole megan setup, its gonna be freaking loud and raspy

 

even with how quiet the OE exhaust is you guys still think it is going to be raspy??

I have mmw header, s-pipe, injen cai and oem exaust and i have no rasp, matter a fact it sounds almost the same except for the intake growling sound.

 

it will sound horrible ray, at least with the megan muffler. your better off keeping your trd axle back.

also, your car will smell like crap without any cats.

 

X2 on what he said^^^ get a magnaflow high flow cat and resonator installed in place of the resonators on the megan midpipe and you should be good to go...

I am still going to proceed with the trade so I will have a Full Megan setup from the S-pipe back

I will be ordering the Megan Header at the end of the month and as soon as I have it installed I will get a video for you guys to see how it sounds..

of course if it sounds like Sh*t I WILL get a resonator put in..

I would have to agree with many others that you should stay away from adding a header to the rest of the megan setup. It will sound pretty bad unless you spend more money getting a big resonator welded in on the midpipe. And, I know it sounds stupid and tree-hugging, it's somewhat irresponsible to be pumping all those nasty NOx gases in to the atomosphere, especially when you're only getting 8-12 hp out of it.

...now if it were a 250whp turbo setup, I could deal with a little irresponsibility
