Air rushing into the throttle body, then the throttle plate closes quickly. I think it is just the sound of that air whooshing through the partially open throttle plate. On a stock airbox there are parts to muffle those noises.

Its not the CAI, mine does not make "said" noise... Bryce your car didnt make that sound until the header was installed.

the only other thing that i think it might be is the engine moving with all that tourqe at the connection with the end of the header with the s-pipe, maybe it flexex and lets air out because its not secure to the frame like the stock manifold.

it is the CAI, when you let of the gas the air suddenly stops flowing through the intake and makes a slight woosh sound...it's only really noticeable during higher rpm's

yeah... but explain why it only happens after i put my heaer on.... not being an ___ i just really want to understand whats going on lol... im pretty mechanically inclined but everything was torqued to specs and all the hoseclamps around the intake are tight and my vacuum line is beyond tight... I just don't know how putting the header on the opposide side of the manifold suddenly causes my intake side to have so much air it surges out... please explain (again not being a jerk i just don't understand lol)

maybe you just never really payed attention to it before. Other than that i don't know. Maybe u should just get it checked out to be on the safe side or possibly attempt to contact the people at DC sports and ask a rep there about it

alphawerks had one, but the company who made it ditched on them, i think they're in the process of making another one. crazyedie if you're the guy from diehl in york alphawerks will NOT sell you the CEL fix, I think Dezod might have something for you... don't quote me on that though
