I just ordered megan racing headers and i was wondering if i just replace the headers and not the downpipe/s-pipe will i still throw a CEL??

 

yes you will, the header replaces the primary cat so you need to do the anifouler mod on your secondary 02 sensor located on your s-pipe

some people have luck with the antifouler and others dont.

 

the weapon R CEL eliminator seems to work very well,but spendy.If the ones from like Autozone do not work give it a try.

 

A lot of people have good luck with CEL eliminators aka o2 simulators but I just didn't. It may have been becaust of my setup, I tried 20+ diffrent combinations of antifoulers and three diffrent o2 sims. My 2.5" full setup was as Alphawerks header, Zpi Racing S-pipe, Zpi Racing midpipe, Injen SES exhaust. I modified the midpipe and added a Magnaflow High flow OBDII Carb Cert Cat (with O2 bung) and a Magnaflow 18" long 6" round resonator. I relocated the S-pipe o2 sensor behind the cat in the midpipe and no cel at all!

i bought an ANTIFOULER off ebay for 3 bucks. threw it on the 02 sensor on the S-pipe and boom no CEL for 2 years

yeah i thought i was lucky as hell lmfaoo and i thougth my CEL light jus doesnt work but when i click the key in the ignition it comes up lmfaooo and i got my car inspected and no codes came up so im GOLDEN lmfao it did come up once before i put the antifouler on for like 2 minutes and then put that on and voila gone lol 3 bucks off ebay DO IT
