Default header on a TC

Has anyone installed any headers that you don't have to worry about the check engine light coming on in a scion tc? The Dc Sports header will throw a check engine light but you can buy an O2 simulator to make the computer think that the O2 is installed but I'm trying not to have to go that route. Thanks

You know we ran into the same problem on my brothers nissan altima but all we had to do was relocate the 2nd O2 sensor behind the cat. The reason is because you have a pre-cat in the stock down pipe. When you get a header it isn't there. That means the 2nd O2 is reading the same gases the 1st one is causing the CEL. But if you move it then it runs fine and you stop the car from running rich.

I don't know if this is the same with the tC but you may want to look into it. This may be the answer to all your problems!!
