Which Header for TRD exhaust

Which Header for TRD exhaust
I like the way it sounds and I wanna keep it. Is there really no header/exhaust combo that will work with the TRD exhaust without producing rasp? Why is it that the TRD are more prone to sound raspy with the addition of the header?

Try a header with custom mid, ie. HiFlo Cat, and a Resonator. The only other answer your gonna get is....Buy a precision axleback, no rasp...blah blah blah
Seems nobody tries to get the TRD to sound good, I love the TRD tone as well, 400amonth sucessfuly made his sound nice with 2 large resonators.

Its been done..."400amonth" has a thread form a while back where he added a few reonators and a silencing tip that took all of the rasp away with the TRD muffler...try searching his name or look at his profile...I think he has pics on his cardomain site.

Two "Magnaflow" resonators worked I believe... did he post a sound clip of it?
Us PM Axleback junkies just praise the fact that a low priced exhaust kills the TRD for tone stock and compatibility with headers, and isn't overpriced like the TRD.
Ironic... a Magnaflow product fixing the TRD problem.... LoL....

If you scroll down the page you will see pics and a link to 3 dyno runs wide open throttle under load and some audio clips just burping it to 3500k.

P.S. Personally I have saved and heard every sound clip on this site and ALL the ones with headers including mine still sounds a little too rice for my taste. I have just learned to live with it and accept the fact that I have de-riced a TC header setup as much as it can be done. Also note that with the TRD exhaust I did put 160 footpounds to the ground and you are also hearing a car with NO CAT at all.
