Which Header would you prefer?

The Megan racing header is basically an OEM design without the Cat (pipe lengths are generally the same as stock manifold) It's also quality built. I just installed a used one that I got for $100 bucks and its been great. I'm currently running an HKS exhaust with it and I only get rasp when I really get on it (or when the exhaust is cold,) for a majority of my city driving, I don't even really hear any rasp.

It sounds how it sounds. It's the nature of the beast.
When I'm cruising or below 3K rpms, there is still the nice HKS exhaust drone. Even cruising at 70mph, I'm still below 3K rpms and it sounds fine.
Find a 4 cylinder engine with an aftermarket header that doesn't have rasp without adding resonators.... You can't
Ford, Chevy, Honda, Toyota, its all the same. A 4 cylinder is a 4 cylinder engine, its not going to sound like v-8 muscle

The rasp with that exhaust was too much to handle and maybe it was my driving but that sh_t was raspy from 2,200rpms +
So yeah I couldn't be driving down my block and have little kids jumping for safety on the pavement cause they thought that the rice rocket would eat them alive.
Wow you say? I say damm there's a ton of newbs that made the May 2010 cut.

It's the nature of the beast is a common metaphor.
It very well could have been your driving, like I posted earlier, when I get on the gas real hard I hear rasp, other than that It's not until the high rpm ranges. It also could have been an exhaust leak somewhere. All 4-1 headers have the same general raspiness because of the 4 into 1 collector (lots of air coming together in one spot creating turbulence)
4-2-1 headers don't have as much rasp because only two pipes are coming together at any time. (less turbulence)
and FYI, I've been in the scion scene since 2006 when I bought my tC brand new. I've been on scion life since then as well. This is just a new username.
I stopped posting on scionlife for a long time because of the number of douchebags and you are just re-iterating it.
