Default Headers?

Hi i was wondering these headers everyone is talking about, Can you use it with a turbo setup or do u need to get a turbo exhaust manifold?

Are they different things?

Cuase if they are not, i just plan on getting a cheap axle back and CAi that will be it till i go F/I.

Cuase i think headers and catback would be useless gains if i go F/I

ALso what are some other mods i could do that would be compatible with a F/I, like engine wise, like cams, and stuff?

thanks

You cannot use a header with a turbo.. since the turbo will need a turbo manifold.

If you go F/I you'll want to get a catback system with 2.5" piping. Your cold air intake wont work with the turbo either, FYI.

But if you want the basic bolt-ons to get some quick performance gains while you save for the turbo, check out http://www.RacingSolution.com

does anyone know if the headers will work with the new supercharger installed? I realize it is the same head, but I did'nt know if it would somehow affect the SC in a negative way.

Turbos need the manifold because of the way it works. Turbos need exhaust gasses to work so they use turbo manifolds to use exhaust gasses from the engine. I don't see why header would have a negative affect on a s/c. You are gonna want to have those compressed gasses leave just as fast as they are comming in.

yes, the headers help move more air out of the car, and while the SC is adding more air into the car, so in essence, they compliment each other very well.

and of course, a better exhaust system and CAI help also.
