wuts up everyone...i know there are a few headers out there now and i am undecided about what one i should buy..i want alot of power because now im starting to do my motor and drag raced a few times at new england drag way...so what headers would be more afficiate with the k&n cai.......

price is no matter for me so i just want your guys opinion...or do you know of any other headers that i dont know of let me know thank s guys...

 

dc is supposed to be decent but sound like poo....megan is supposed to be kinda shady and alphawerks looks bout the best, but is almost double the price of the other 2

 

yah thats the header i have been leaning to is the alphawerks price is no big deal i rather pay a little more and have a better sounding car you know what i mean but thanks for your opinion...

 

just get alphawerks then

 

im getting rid of the dc headers with the antifouler trick if interested. NO CEL.

tctunerz is taking forever for my megan headers... i got it in the apr.14 and now its 26.......

dud ei have heard alot of bad stuff about tctunerz since i have been part of this site..i ordered my springs and that was a huge ordeal but 1 month later i got them and then i ordered my dc sport carbon steel strut bar on march 26 and still havent recieved it yet...so im goingto get my money back and order them from someone else....

 

Get the Alphawerks header. Very good quality and looks and definately a lot of power. Definately the best Header for the tC and worth every penny.

I ordered mine from Racingsolutions.com they are very excellent to work with. If you email Alphawerks directly you can get the o2 smart sim for 20$ which eliminates the CEL.

that looks awesome man....did you do the valve cover your self???how much were the headers from racingsolutions???and looking closly at the pic the intake tube that little black box coming off the tube did u take it off...??man i wish tctunerz would hurry up with my dc strut bar it looks so good...

i dont think he bought it ..probably painted it which is easy....but i dunno??but when you paint it your supposed to replace the gasket...

I did the valve cover myself, painted it with spray can.

you dont have to replace the gasket if you take it off carefully and dont break it.

Yeah i took the intake cap off, it doesnt do anything except make the engine bay look cleaner and less cluttered.

You spray painted that yourself! Very nice!!! I coulda sworn that was powdercoat. Did you use the high-temp engine paint?

 

yes. I sanded the cover down with 600. 2 coats of primer, 5 coats of engine enamel Ford red, and 5 coats fo clear. Then i baked it in the dryer for one hour and voila, done!

im going to do this when i get back from vegas...but the baking thing can you put it in the oven????what brand of primer and paint did you use...?
